Biography

Terry Lovique, the multi talented uprising international artist was born in Bassett, Virginia, USA.

Whatever type of music is presented toward him, he turns it into something special. His unlimited talents range from Rock to Opera. The gift of captivating his audience is a need to be seen, and will rock you within the bottom of your soul.

But being a singer is not where it stops with him, his unique talent is shining through all of his project including being a songwriter, producer, actor, arranger and event manager.

He studied music under the degree of Performing Arts under the direction of the distinguished Dr. Aldrich Adkins at Virginia State University. Studying at VSU he toured with the Virginia State University Concert Choir, the University Gospel Choir and the Richmond Tri-City Mass Choir as lead vocalist. Being with the choir gave him the oppurtunity to sing background for some of the greatest and highly acclaimed legends of gospel music. The list reads like a "Who is Who" of gospel music: Tramaine Hawkins, Vickie Winans, LaShun Paces Rhodes, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Shirley Ceasar, Take 6, Darryl Coley, John P. Kee, Richard Smallwood and many more...

Coming from that background it seems just natural that the list of credits would become even more bigger after moving from the USA to Europe.

The versatile artist has already many credits to his name in Europe, especially in Germany.

He toured in Europe with "The Black Gospel Pearls" of Donna Brown, throughout Europe. Bringing the gospel music into countries like Spain, Austria, Italy and Germany. A highlight makes the Bregenzer Festspiele in Austria where he was seen in "Porgey and Bess" under the direction of Götz Friedrich.

He starred in two music videos alongside with the record release of two songs:
"What´s going on" by Black Attack feat. Ebony produced by X-Tatic Music; Kiel Germany, shot in Mannheim, Germany.
"Wake Up" feat. Terry Lovique, produced by Triple M, shot on location in Miami, Florida.

Being with the producer Triple M rounded up his credits on touring with other famous artists throughout Germany like:

Ayman and the P. Diddy Tour alongside with other featured artists Jennifer Lopez, Carl Thomas, Marlon Winans, 112 and Lil Cease.

Other famous artists he had the chance to work with are: Jennifer Rush, Sasha, R. Kelly, Tony Terry,
Oli P., Band ohne Namen, DJ Bobo and Pam Knight "Spike".

Working alongside so many professional people brought also the oppurtunity of performing on TV in shows like: The Dome, Top of the Pops, Bravo TV, Sat 1 Music Show, ZDF Fernsehgarten and the Friedrichstadtpalast.

He has performed in some of the finest clubs and distinguished locations of Berlin:
A-Trane, Soultrane, Miles Club, Quasimodo, Blues Cafe, Junction Bar, Hard Rock Cafe, Planet Hollywood Berlin, Quartier 206, Hotel Estrel Berlin, The Hyatt (including the premierparty of "The Hunchback of Notre Dame"), Tempodrom, as well as two of the first addresses of music in Berlin: Deutsche Oper Berlin and the Philharmony Berlin.

He also is a highly thoughtafter performer on the Gala-Scene of Berlin which has lead him to perform in some of the first hotel addresses in Berlin:
Steigenberger Hotel, Hotel Adlon Berlin, Interconti Berlin, Kempinski, Esplanade Berlin, Hotel Berlin, Swiss Hotel and the Hollywood Hotel Berlin.

In early summer 2005 he and the Dance Artist "Digital Jockey" released the Album "Codeine Dub", available at Poets Club Records

Having all these talents, it is natural that Terry Lovique also gives acting a chance. He is now the vice-president of African Diaspora Theater (the spreading ground of people) based in Berlin, Germany.

One would think being a singer, songwriter, touring, acting and studiowork would be more than enough displaying his many talents. But after being on the music scene for quite some time. He is getting ready to launch his latest new project of opening up his own agency "Lovique Agenturs". The agency will provide some of the finest service possible in the entertainment business. It will stand for high class productions, management, event-management and creating and helping you for your most personal package you need, in order to be successful in show-business.
